Once upon a dream, a lady called Aline, a brazilian born beautiful soul, adventurous and with a heart of gold, decided she wanted do an interchange in the US. Then she came. Barelly she knew she would meet her future husband in that period of time. Charles, a hardworking, talented and handsome guy, was wating for the right woman to steal his heart. Then, they met!
Fast-forward: In a extra cold winter day, with heavy snow forecast for Baltimore, MD area, these two got gifted the best scenario one could hope for! SNOW showers!

Daysy: Top 3 tips for future couples:
- Don’t plan to do too much the week of your wedding;
- Choose a great and trustworthy photographer;
- Get plenty of sleep the night before your wedding;
Daysy: Tell us about your wedding day fashions.
Aline & Charles: Charles wore a very nice navy blue Ralph Lauren suit that went nicely with his light blue tie. Aline wore a beautiful lace dress that she bought in Chicago during her trip with Charles couple months before the big day. By the way, the dress has a very nice story, she found her wedding dress in Chicago and it was Aline’s first time shopping around for wedding dresses, incredible right?! Everyone knows how hard it can be… However she just fell in love with the first one that she saw. The dress was just perfect and had everything she wanted.
Daysy: What was your color palette and wedding style? What inspired it? Tell us about the flowers, stationery and decor you chose.
Aline & Charles: We chose the navy blue color. Blue is our favorite color, so it was not hard at all to decide. The bouquet was just beautiful in white roses and asiatic lilies.

Daysy: The Best Thing about the day?
Aline & Charles: First look was the best thing of the day. The moment that we saw each other for the first time was breath taken. It was very very romantic. We will never forget that moment. We were not considering to do the first look at first, but we were so glad we did it.
Daysy: Tells about your Honeymoon Location
Aline & Charles: We went to Hawaii (Oahu, Maui and Big Island) for 2 weeks for our honeymoon. It was definitely AMAZING! We did many many things like, hiking to the top of mountains, hiking to see lava of the most active volcano in the world, snorkeling, going to exotic beaches like black and green sand beach… It was the best honeymoon ever!
Daysy: What places would you recommend for newlyweds going to the same location?
1 out of 3 places: Oahu – Surf competition Pipe Master in North Shore, Hiking Diamond Head Trail, Snorkeling Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve. Beaches: Kailua, Pupukea, Waimānalo, Pipeline, Honolulu Waikiki, mermaid caves. Hiking Koko Crater Trail (this hike was definitely worth it). There are 1,048 railroad ties (steps) to the end of the railway then another 40 feet of walking to get to the look out points, Halona Blowhole.
2 out of 3 places: Maui: Haleakala National Park to watch the sun rise (it’s a must), Hana Highway (this highway is famous for its 620 crazy curves, amazing views), Seven sacred pools, Black Sand Beach, Whale watching
3 out of 3 places: Big Island – Volcano National Park (it was totally worth it to get to see lava right in from of you. Be prepare to walk over 4 hours and to hike over the black rocks) reserve the whole day for this activity. Green sand beach, Black Sand beach, Hapuna Beach (voted one of the most beautiful in the world, Luau in Hilo
Aline & Charles: In Hawaii we went to 3 islands: Oahu, Maui and Big Island. We did amazing activities in all of them. We couldn’t have thought about a better place for our honeymoon.
Daysy: What went wrong?
Aline & Charles: The flower girl was afraid of walking down the aisle. She only went when Charles came to guide her. It was a cute moment that everybody got emotional.
Daysy: Describe any personal or special touches that helped make Your Wedding Memorable.
Aline & Charles: Memorable words and prayers from the Minister; The Saxophone artist playing ambiance music; Beautiful decorated wedding arch; Ceiling accent lighting; Fairy tale snow wedding; Elegant lace wedding dress.
Daysy: Which element(s) of your day best reflected you as a couple? What did you do to make guests feel special?
Aline & Charles: We love the Christmas season and our wedding happened in December, which is a very happy time of the year. The Bride’s mother brought traditional brazilian sweets like: sonho de valsa, pão de mel and the famous “bem-casados” which means in Portuguese “well Married”.
