Daysy: Top 3 tips for future couples:
Carol & Alexander:
- Pray together every single day for each other, their relationship and others.
- Laugh together through difficult times, always remembering the season will pass and a blessing will come.
- Forgiveness is crucial for a marriage to survive

Daysy: What was your color palette and wedding style? What inspired it? Tell us about the flowers, stationery and decor you chose.
Carol & Alexander: My wedding style was very wintery, christmas had just passed and we wanted to keep that spirit on our wedding day. My make up was very natural as I love simplicity.
We created our own flowers, we went to a flower warehouse and bought all the flowers we needed for the wedding day and then put them all together. Our stationary resembled Christmas as well.

Daysy: Where did you have your wedding? Why did you choose the location?
Carol & Alexander: We had the wedding in Alexander’s home. We chose for our wedding to be in the privacy of our home in the presence of those closest to us. The wedding was very cozy and the essence of family was truly felt.

Daysy: Describe any personal or special touches that helped make Your Wedding Memorable
Carol & Alexander: Many of the decorations we used to make our wedding magical, were made by us. My mother in law, my husband (Alexander), our sisters, and I. We bought real christmas trees pine cones to express a Christmas ambiance. We created my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquet.

Daysy: Did you have a first look before the ceremony?
Carol: No we chose not to. We wanted to wait until the ceremony. The first time he saw me, and I saw him, all our memories flooded my mind, I was so happy and felt like i was living my dream.

Daysy: Which element(s) of your day best reflected you as a couple? What did you do to make guests feel special?
Carol & Alexander: Our first dance gave our guests a genuine view at what we felt for eachother. Our uniqueness, the way we are so comfortable with each other. Trust and love and harmony were evident.

Daysy: Tell us about your wedding day fashions.
Carol & Alexander: My dress was a very simple dress bought online on JJhouse. I wore rose gold jewelry to match my engagement ring and wedding band. Alexander bought his tux at Men’s Warehouse.
Daysy: The Best Thing about the day?
Carol & Alexander: The toast was the best part about the day. Not only did we get to speak about our gratefulness towards God and those who have helped us on the way. But we heard others, people we didn’t imagine would really speak up that day about the way they felt about us and what we mean to them. Not only that, but our pastor also was part of the toast and offered people an insight on the wonders God did for our lives/

Daysy: What went wrong?
Carol & Alexander: Absolutely nothing went wrong, thanks to God.
