BUT, to reach that moment, to find each other and to move along with a life long commitment…. Oh my friends, this is when we start to realize how life is amazingly beautiful on its mysteries! Simple or complicated? Maybe booth. And that’s when we find out it is worth it to find love!
I just know I would like you to go below to read their interview, enjoy their engagement movie and inspire yourself with their beautiful imagery created on a rainy, yet beautiful day, in Washington DC, because love stories like this are meant to be celebrated. Always 🙂
Much happiness on your way, Frances and Travis (including pokemon go!)… I can’t wait to create the part two of your love story this upcoming April, at the Ceresville, Mansion!

Daysy: How did you meet?
Travis: We met on Match.com
Frances: One day on Match I saw this photograph of a stunning red-head in a brown leather jacket walking through the woods and I knew that I had to contact him. Best decision of my life.

Daysy: Do you have any pets? If yes what is it’s name and how do you share the duties?
Travis: We have 3 little rats, two boys named Cheddar and Queso and a girl named Mozzarella. We switch off on cleaning their cage weekly.
Frances: Trav also forgotten to mention my darling Siamese, Mei-Ling! She lives at home with my parents since she’s quite elderly now and needs special attention, but no matter what she will always remain my baby. We have very frequent visits and mom texts me lots of pictures of Kitty being lazy.

Daysy: Where did you go for your 1st date?
Travis: Zoo lights at the Washington Zoo on December 19th, then a walk to dupont circle.
Frances: We did meet up in Dupont for Zoo Lights. It was bitterly cold and I was wearing these ridiculous oversized fluffy earmuffs. I couldn’t hear him when I wore them and when I took them off my ears went numb. I recall talking his ear off about my favorite books and giving him detailed descriptions of Stephen King’s career. And yet, he didn’t run away.

Daysy: Travis, how did you propose? Can you describe that moment?
Travis: I proposed to Fran on her birthday. We went to a local indian restaurant we like, came back home and went out to view the city from the balcony. I proposed to her there, the same location I asked her to go steady with me.

Daysy: How do you imagine yourselves as a couple from now to 5 years?
Travis: We shall continue to grow closer to each other, celebrating fun times with friends and family and supporting each other through hard times. We will likely move to a larger place for more space for family and larger pets.
Frances: Trav doesn’t know it, but we will also have way more cars and books! And for pets… it’ll be three kitties and two puppies.

Daysy: Travis, describe something that you absolutely love about your fiance?

Travis: Fran is fiercely loving, she takes special care for me when I’m sick or sad and inspires me to try new things and learn new skills.

Daysy: Frances, describe something that you absolutely love about your fiance?

Frances: Trav is an all around sweetie. He’s quirky and cute, loyal and caring, with a zen like temperament and an amazing capacity to love. Also, have I mentioned how amazingly handsome he is?

Daysy: Any funny stories to share about your fiance? (be nice) 🙂
Travis: Despite parking in the same spot, Fran would constantly be unsure of where the parking spot was. At one point, we went down to the garage to go off somewhere and she pulls off to the passenger side of a similarly colored car early. I waited for her to try the door and have her ask me to unlock it before realizing it was the wrong car, but to my surprise it was already unlocked and she started to get in before I told her it was the wrong car. I remind her constantly about the story.

*That awkward when strangers start to hug you to congratulate about your engagement… or not awkward at all! FREE HUGS everyone 😀 ~Daysy*

Daysy: Any funny stories to share about your fiance?(be nice) 🙂
Frances: Trav is super fastidious. It doesn’t help his meticulous nature that he’s marrying a person who spawns junk and mess by simply being. He’s always following in my wake, cleaning and organizing (the man is currently engaged as I write this in rearranging my sock drawer). Even more bizarre, my clean freak sweetie always washes vegetables and fruits vigorously with soap! He’s most certainly a weird man. I’m just glad he’s my weird man! A little less museum like housekeeping though would be acceptable..

Daysy: Are you planning to honeymoon? If yes, where do you have plans to go to?
Travis: We will go to St. George Island, Florida, a Smith family vacation spot after the wedding for a quick get away, and will plan a honeymoon trip to Africa afterwards.
Frances: Africa has been a huge dream for me my entire life and a goal before 30, so Trav will get to share that with me on our big honeymoon. The min-moon, however, will give us some much needed rest after all the wedding planning stress.
