It was a beautiful fall day. The temps had dropped aroundd this time, but Carli and Josh got a gift from the heavens: a beautiful warm weather, in a begging of winter!

Their fall wedding was the reflection of two young and mature personalities, that are the perfect match for each other. Every single detail was well thought, well planned and that resulted in beautiful amazing images, you will be able to see bellow! Enjoy the highlight of their day and interview, as well. Daysy: Top 3 tips for future couples:

Don’t sweat the little things that day, remember that this is just one day to the start of a life together.
Practice your vows! You won’t trip over any words and you will be able to enjoy the moment more not having to think about them too hard.
Remember that things will go wrong, not everything will be absolutely perfect, but that is okay because life is not perfect.

Daysy: Tell us about your wedding day fashions.

Carli & Josh: All of the girls in the bridal party had monogrammed, oasis, mens button downs with black leggings.

“My grandmother made all of the favors, which were simple. They were cylinder mint packets with a patterned baby blue paper wrapping, small orange flower, and tag that stated “ Carli & Josh Mint to be 11/25/2017” ~ Carly

Daysy: Describe any personal or special touches that helped make Your Wedding Memorable

Carli & Josh: We had Josh’s cousin make a sign about out ceremony being an unplugged ceremony. This made sure all of our guests had their phones and cameras put away for just the ceremony allowing them to really be in the moment with us and not have any guests holding phones up in our pictures. We also had my brother, Brady, give the blessing for the meal, which was very personal to both Josh and I.

Daysy: The Best Thing about the day:

Josh: Seeing Carli walk down the aisle in her beautiful white dress

Carli: Watching Josh’s face light up through every special moment of the evening i.e. first seeing me, our kiss, our dance, his dance with his mom, and the speeches.

Daysy: Where did you have your wedding? Why did you choose the location?

Carli & Josh: The ceremony was at our church, Friendship Baptist Church, which we chose because that is the church we attend every Sunday. The reception was at Turf Valley Resort. We chose this location because they take care of almost everything needed for the reception with no additional costs. Also, the venue is beautiful even during fall and winter seasons with the fountain and bright green golf courses.

Daysy: What was your color palette and wedding style? What inspired it? Tell us about the flowers, stationery and decor you chose.

Carli & Josh: Our colors were oasis and persimmon, which were chosen to compliment the season. Mainly the persimmon was used for the floral arrangements. The flowers were persimmon and burgundy colors placed in bud vases with crystal candle holders on wood rounds with a complimentary oasis table number. The idea was a rustic chic feeling we wanted to compliment our style as a couple.

Daysy: Tell us about your cocktail hour and reception! What was on the menu? Did you have any special entertainment?

Carli & Josh: For our cocktail hour, we had chicken quesadillas, bourbon meatballs, chicken sesame, crab artichoke dip, fruit, and vegetables. Our main course was a filet mignon and chicken parm with roasted red potatoes and vegetables.

Daysy: Which element(s) of your day best reflected you as a couple? What did you do to make guests feel special?

Carli & Josh: The shoe game best reflected us as a couple. Some of the questions were tailored to us specifically and really showed how well we know each other.
