April 4th, 2015 at 12pm: Caitlin and Michael become Mr. and Mrs. Oursler! And it couldn’t be prettier!
They have a small Wedding but filled with beautiful details such as the gorgeous location at Inn at Perry Cabin, boat ride, gorgeous dress and on and on… I am so honored to be part of their wedding day as their photographer, helping them capture their first day as a married couple! Congratulations Ourslers, much happiness and joy on your path 🙂

Daysy: What location did you choose to have your Wedding at?
Caitlin: The Inn at Perry Cabin by Belmond it is a waterfront mansion nestled in beautiful St. Michaels MD.
Daysy: Why did you guys choose this location?
Caitlin: We decided we wanted the wedding to be intimate and just the two of us. St Michaels was at the top of our list and we were blown away by its beauty and charm. The inn at Perry Cabin was both luxurious and cozy all wrapped into one and from the moment we first arrived to preview the location we knew it was the perfect setting for our wedding.
Daysy: Tell us about your wedding day fashions
Caitlin: Since we planned our day in only a month I ordered my dress and accessories all online from BHLDN.
Daysy: What was your color palette and wedding style? What inspired it? Tell us about the flowers, stationery and decor you chose?
Caitlin: We wanted to stay in theme with our location on the water so blue ivory was our main color.
The bouquet was something I made myself using some flowers we purchased at the market their pinkish purple color was a nice complement to the blue.
Caitlin walks towards Michael, for their 1st look at the dock.
At this moment, officiant Art Potts was stating how a married couple should also pay attention to the smaller details… and by coincidence (or not), Caitlin found a lady bug at Michael’s tuxedo. I have heard that it means luck and that I must say, was a lesson being practiced 🙂
Next step, and very important one, I must say: cut the cake! Yes, with that view!!
Daysy: What was on the menu?
Caitlin: We had an amazing five course meal with wine pairings at the STARS restaurant at the inn.
Daysy: Describe any personal or special touches that helped make Your Wedding Memorable.
Caitlin: We took a boat ride right after the ceremony and it was the perfect setting to spend our first moments as newlyweds.
Daysy: What went wrong?
Caitlin: The wind! The skies were clear with plenty of sunshine but the winds were super strong and my veil was blown right out of my hair.
(just between us, I thought her veil part was super cute and fun, I can define it almost as a photographer’s dream come true 😉 -Daysy
Daysy: The Best Thing about the day?
Caitlin: I loved how relaxed and stress free the day was it gave us the opportunity to focus on each other and what the day was truly suppose to be about.
How lovely is this garden to be used as your stage for your 1st dance? My heart just melted!
Love and Happiness… these are my wishes to you!
