Mary and Allen met at work in 2012, and their first date they went shopping for work boots for Allen! I guess all of us would guess when a relationship starts with that lovely care, it has a greater chance into become a marriage 🙂

Mary & Allen have decided to get married on the peak of fall, what a wonderful choice! Their big day was filled with beautiful details from pumpkin flower vases, orange bridesmaids shoes, a cute 1st look and much emotion from family and friends! It was PERFECTION!!!!

Daysy: Where did you have your wedding? Why did you choose the location?
Mary & Allen: Morningside Inn. My sister Laura got married at Morningside Inn, the staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. The property is beautiful and we knew the trees would look amazing on our wedding day.

Daysy: Describe any personal or special touches that helped make Your Wedding Memorable
Mary & Allen: The scenery and colors of the trees were perfect, and we got many comments and compliments.

Daysy: Tell us about your wedding day fashions
Mary & Allen: When I tried on my dress, I knew it was “the dress”.

Daysy: What went wrong?
Mary & Allen: My shoes did not fit.

Daysy: Why did you pick fall season for your wedding? Any particular reason?
Mary & Allen: No particular reason, but we liked the colors of fall.

Daysy: Did you have any special inspiration for the pumpkin flowers decoration? 
Mary & Allen: Our florist suggested the pumpkins for aisle decorations. They fit perfectly with our fall theme.

Preparation for the 1st look! Mary hides while we see Allen walking towards the spot!

Daysy: Which element(s) of your day best reflected you as a couple? What did you do to make guests feel special?
Mary & Allen: The fall and rustic theme reflects us both.

Daysy: Top 3 tips for future brides…
Mary & Allen: 1. Keep it simple
2. 1st Look photos prior to wedding
3. Follow a timeline

Daysy: Tell us about… 
Flowers: Blossom and Basket Boutique did an amazing job with the flowers. I had a vision in my head of how I wanted the flowers to look. They far exceeded my expectations.
Cake: We chose Stone House Cakery and Cafe to make our wedding cupcakes. We chose Chocolate (Allen’s favorite), Orange (Mary’s favorite), Salted Caramel, and Pumpkin (both perfect for fall).
Favors: Small Mason Jars filled with orange and brown candies
Honeymoon Location: Cape Canaveral, Florida

Daysy: What was your color palette and wedding style? What inspired it? Tell us about the flowers, stationery and decor you chose. 
Mary & Allen: We knew we wanted a fall wedding. Orange and brown are two of my favorite colors and perfect colors for fall.

Daysy: Tell us about your cocktail hour and reception! What was on the menu? 
Mary & Allen: We had a cheese and cracker table at our cocktail hour. For dinner we had salmon and roast beef, with red potatoes and broccoli.

TheSoundsations Entertainment Services guys, making sure all couples got their romantic songs in check, before they rocked that dance floor with “shakeable” songs!! 🙂
