This lovely couple, Thiele and Andrew, got married last month in a rustic and traditional wedding style. They tied the knot at First Alliance Church Thiele’s church and had their honeymoon at Massanutten Resort.
They look so cute together but it is way beyond the look. They share an amazing story with a lot in common, especially the love for God and the sense of humor. They spread happiness and kind throughout their personalities and they made sure to transform their wedding day in something as just special as their love story.

How long after you were engaged did you get married?
6 months.

- Plan, plan, plan.
- Be prepared for things to go wrong
- Relax.
Based on our wedding planning experiences, what advice would you give people who are still planning their wedding?
Plan for the unexpected and don’t be upset if things don’t go as you planned or if the wedding doesn’t start on time. Enjoy the day and don’t get stressed.
What adjective best describes your spouse on your wedding day?
Thiele was stunning!
Andrew was handsome!
How would you describe the style of your wedding?
Rustic and traditional.
Where did you have your wedding? Why did you choose the location?
First Alliance Church because it is Thiele’s church and it is her family here in America.

We loved the cake!
The best thing about the day:
Having our family from all over come to be with us on our special day.
What was your color palette and wedding style? What inspired it? Tell us about the flowers, stationery, and decor you chose.
Dusty blue and blush. I, Thiele, was inspired by Instagram. The decor was dusty blue. The flowers were blue and pink. I chose every detail.
Tell us about your wedding day fashions.
Andrew wore a grey suit with a vest and dusty blue bow tie. Thiele wore a strapless white gown with blue heels.
Which element(s) of your day best reflect you as a couple? What did you do to make guests feel special?
The people and the laughs best reflected us as a couple. We went table to table to say hello and take a picture.
What was the most fun detail of your wedding to plan?
The decorations and shopping for the dress says, Thiele.
What was the most difficult detail of your wedding to agree upon?
The number of guests and which guests to have.
What moment of your wedding day did you get anxious the most?
Thiele says when she was inside of the car waiting to walk down the aisle. Andrew says when he was waiting for Thiele to walk down the aisle.
Who caught the bridal bouquet?
Sandra the Wedding Decorator.
Who decided on the wedding song for walking down the aisle and why?
Thiele did because her mom loves Elvis Presley and she walked Thiele down the aisle.
What is the worst thing that happened on your wedding day, and the best thing that happened?
Worst thing: The musicians iPad overheated in the sun and we had to wait about 30 minutes before we could start the service.
The best thing: When we saw each other for the first time as Thiele walked down the aisle.
After the day has passed, would you have anything you have done differently?
Nothing. With all the day’s faults, it was a perfect and beautiful day.
How did you feel when the wedding planning was all over?
Relieved.
What are your honeymoon plans?
We went to Massanutten Resort. We played tennis, basketball, rode go-karts, played miniature golf, went to the water park, went hiking and saw a bear.
