Jhoann and Anh

Daysy: How did he propose? Can you describe that moment?

Jhoann and Anh: Anh proposed on the 3rd day of a trip to Disney World. He surprised Jhoann to a dinner at Cinderella’s castle. The restaurant was called Royal Table, it’s a unique dining experience where you get to meet all your favorite Disney princesses. That alone was a great surprise to end the 3 day trip, but after dessert Anh had an even bigger surprise. He had been planning to propose at the restaurant for months now. After dessert a dish was brought out to Jhoann covered. Once it was placed down in front of her and the waiter lifted the cover she saw Cinderella’s glass slipper and Anh down on one knee.

Venue: The Lodge at Little Seneca Creek in Boyds, Md

Daysy: Aubrie, Describe something that you absolutely love about your fiance?
Aubrie: He is extremely hard working providing for our family. He cares so much for our son and I have watched him grow into an amazing father. He is my rock, he keeps me laughing and striving to better myself. He is calm and steady and someone I admire.

Frances and Travis

Venue: Ceresville Mansion, 2017 Best Wedding Engagement Ring Shots

Daysy: Where did you go for your 1st date?
Travis: Zoo lights at the Washington Zoo on December 19th, then a walk to dupont circle.
Frances: We did meet up in Dupont for Zoo Lights. It was bitterly cold and I was wearing these ridiculous oversized fluffy earmuffs. I couldn’t hear him when I wore them and when I took them off my ears went numb. I recall talking his ear off about my favorite books and giving him detailed descriptions of Stephen King’s career. And yet, he didn’t run away.

Venue: Deep Creek Lake, 2017 Best Wedding Engagement Ring Shots

Daysy : Any funny stories to share about your fiance? (be nice) ????
Danielle : When he was at my apartment on the Eastern shore during a snowstorm, we went for a drive and I told him to go down a road because he could turn around.  However, we ended up getting stuck in a ditch, Kevin tore his pants, and our friend we called to help pull us out also got his truck stuck in a ditch on the same road.  Luckily a tractor was plowing and pulled us out ????

Daysy: Any funny stories to share about your fiance?
Josh:  Whenever Carli and I are in the car and a song that she likes comes on the radio, she sings. Oh how she has a beautiful voice. No one else may believe that, but if you ask me she has a lovely voice. Carli is a FOOD LOVER! If she could eat a Chick-Fil-A everyday, I know she would. She gets upset all the time because they are not open on Sunday. I made her a cake for her birthday and NO ONE was allowed to touch it. I am pretty sure she had that entire thing eaten in two or three days.

Daysy: Where did you go for your 1st date?

Wedding Venue: Private residence. Silver Spring, MD

Carol & Alex: For our first date we went to a restaurant called “La Tasca” in D.C. The atmosphere was cozy, chic, with dim lighting. We enjoyed our company very much, while eating some great spaniard food. Following, we actually ended up walking to the monument and hung around there for a while. We took amazing pictures, and for the most part we just enjoyed being our natural selves, feeling the spark and love for each other.

Uchenna: We actually met on Facebook on April 27, 2016. We officially met in person on Sunday, May 22nd 2016 where I had a preaching engagement. He saw a post about the service and decided to surprise me with a visit.

Venue:Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens Richmond VA

Daysy: How did he/she propose? Can you describe that moment?
Alex: We flew down to Clearwater Beach Florida and stayed at a newly built hotel directly on the beach. On Saturday morning We woke up to go down on the beach and secured a Bungalow. As we were laying there I looked over to Thais and asked “Hey we should go take a picture on the water before all the kids come on the beach”. In doing so I did not want her to suspect anything but I needed her to put on more than just a Bathing Suit. So I told her “I know you never like the way you look in pictures so out on your shit and let’s take a picture” and she really did not like this, HA!
